STEVEN MCCLENDON
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Steven McClendon is the Managing Director at Spur House Partners. He specializes in multi-family, affordable and student housing across the country, as well as both single tenant and shopping center retail. Steven has been involved in over $3000 million (+1M square feet) of commercial transactions representing institutional and private investors, family offices and REITs. Prior to joining Spur House Partners, Steven worked at a leading national investment sales firm in Texas and New York where he helped identify, underwrite, and close on acquisitions and dispositions throughout Texas, Miami, and New York. Steven is particularly adept at bringing an institutional approach to commercial real estate investors. By leveraging his strong local knowledge and relationships, he is consistently able to source high quality off-market investment opportunities for his clients. Steven graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.S. in Biology. He is an active member of Project REAP, ULI and ICSC. Steven currently resides in Manhattan with his wife and in his spare time he enjoys cooking and is an avid supporter of Tottenham Hotspurs F.C.

Shlomo Gelernter begannis career in real estate as a broker at Marcus and Millichap’s Manhattan office. He transitioned into a senior acquisitions role at Pinkstone Capital. After a brief career in acquisitions, Shlomo worked as Managing Director of Sales at Arch Equities and then in 2017 at Besen Partners. As of January 2021, Shlomo left Besen Partners and started a full-service brokerage, Spur House Partners. Shlomo provides superior commercial real estate brokerage services, along with asset management advisory for mixed use and multi-family property owners in New York City. Shlomo has closed over $350,000,000 in sales in his tenure as a broker. He is committed to serving his clients while helping them achieve the highest price for their selling assets.

As a native of Queens, Kareem Alston Jr. is able to bring his understanding and experience in this market to Spur House Partners clients. Kareem has obtained a degree in business administration while investing in the foreign exchange market and building an investment group of over 35 individuals. In 2020, Kareem was a top seller at both his previous position as a retail manager, and within his company dealing with foreign exchange. Kareem brings his strong communication skills, leadership experience, and high energy to help drive sales and negotiate effectively on his clients’ behalf. Kareem’s niche within Spur House Partners is multi-family and mixed-use sales in Brooklyn and Queens.

Steven Mizrahi is an associate for Spur House Partners specializing in multi-family and mixed-use sales in Brooklyn. Steven attended Brooklyn College where he received a bachelor’s degree in marketing. After graduation, Steven went on to work at RFA Group specializing in retail sales. In 2018, Steven was the captain of his high school basketball team that would go on to win the championship and have an undefeated season. Steven brings both his leadership skills and competitive drive to commercial real estate, and will undoubtedly go the extra mile to sell a client’s property.

MARKETING DIRECTOR / ASSOCIATE
Carley Dehnisch assists with all marketing and communications for Spur House Partners. She is finishing up her degree in strategic communications and business from Liberty University and will be graduating in the fall of 2022. Carley has held various leadership positions on her campus where she has gained experience operating and expanding social media campaigns, designing newsletters, and increasing audience engagement, all while developing excellent internal and external communication skills. Carley looks forward to using her experience to help Spur House Partners and our clients achieve their goals.
